Welcome to our Coed 6U Lacrosse In-House Division! Designed for young players eager to learn and have some fun with lacrosse. WWLC offers a supportive and fun environment for children six and under to learn the basic fundamentals of lacrosse.

Practices

Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 to 7:30 PM on the Stadium Field. Starting January 22nd, 2025.

GAMES

Friday evenings starting in February.

Required Equipment - Parents/players expense:

FIELD PLAYER

HELMET: Statement/seal indicating it meets NOCSAE lacrosse standard performance specification and SEI-certified
FIELD PLAYERS CROSSE (Stick): Short Crosse – 40-42” » Long Crosse – 52-72” 10U and younger have allowances for shorter stick lengths (please reference the USA Lacrosse Boys’ Youth Rules Book).
GLOVES: The hand must be fully inserted into the glove
SHOES: Athletic cleats or athletic shoes
PROTECTIVE CUP: Fitted for comfort & protection
ARM PADS: The elbow should be properly & completely covered.
SHOULDER PADS: Covers the top of the shoulder, collarbone & sternum. It should fit comfortably; adjust it by loosening/tightening straps. NOTE: NOCSAE ND 200 compliant shoulder pads will be mandatory as of January 1, 2022
MOUTHGUARD: Must be a visible color other than clear or white. Self-molding (from manufacturers) or custom-molded (from dentist)

GOALIE PLAYER:

HELMET: Statement/seal indicating it meets NOCSAE lacrosse standard performance specification and SEI certified.
THROAT GUARD: Separate from helmet & required for goalies. Attach with snaps/screws/other fasteners. Proper fit for helmet & guard must be done relying on manufacturers’ guidelines & requirements on their website or included with helmet/guard.
CHEST PROTECTOR: This protector covers the front torso from the neckline to below the navel. The body straps must be secured to the front of the pad, and the pad must be adjusted for a snug, comfortable fit. NOTE: NOCSAE ND 200-compliant goalie pads will be mandatory as of January 1, 2022.
PROTECTIVE CUP: Fitted for comfort & protection.
SHOES: Athletic cleats or athletic shoes
GOALIE GLOVES: The hand must be fully inserted in the glove. Include goalie-specific additional thumb protection.
